A major automotive consortium has announced the opening of the world’s first mass-production facility for solid-state batteries in Nevada. These batteries promise to double the range of electric vehicles (EVs) while reducing charging times to under 10 minutes. This development is expected to drive the price of entry-level EVs down by another 15% by the end of the year.
